Sub-processors
A "sub-processor" is a third party that processes personal data on TimberCloud's behalf to help us provide the service. We enter into data-processing terms with each one. The authoritative, itemized list (with hosting locations and data categories) lives on the public Sub-processors page.

Most are US-hosted, so engaging them involves an international transfer; we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and a Transfer Impact Assessment for those transfers.
Change notification
We keep the public list current. Customers with an executed Data Processing Addendum can subscribe to change notifications and will be notified before we add or replace a sub-processor that handles their data.
