Mobile
TimberCloud goes where your work does — to the shop floor, the warehouse, and the loading dock. There are two ways to use TimberCloud on a phone or tablet, and most shops use both.
- The native mobile app — TimberCloud offers a native app built for the production floor, for scanning orders, receiving inventory, running QC, and tracking deliveries hands-on.
- The full web app in a mobile browser — every page you use on a desktop also works in your phone's browser. Log in the same way you always do, and optionally Add to Home Screen so it opens like an app.
Whichever you use, the shop-floor tools are the same four: the Scanner, QC, Receiving, and Delivery / tracking.

The four mobile tools
Each tool is the mobile face of a feature documented elsewhere in this guide. Use this section as the shop-floor entry point; follow the links for the full details.

Important: These four tools do not all unlock at the same plan. The Scanner and QC are part of the Shop floor suite (Production plan). Receiving is part of Purchasing (Build plan). Delivery tracking is part of Shipping (Commerce plan). See Subscriptions & Plans for the full breakdown.
Which should I use — the app or the browser?
Both connect to the same TimberCloud account and the same live data; there is nothing to sync manually. Pick whichever fits the moment:
- Reach for the native app when you want a dedicated, always-ready tool on a shared shop tablet or a worker's phone.
- Reach for the mobile browser when you need a page that isn't one of the four floor tools — editing an order, checking a customer, or reviewing a report — since the entire dashboard is responsive and works at phone width.
Tip: The Scanner is the one genuinely floor-first tool, and it runs great in a mobile browser today — open it from the Scanner button in the top bar, allow camera access, and start scanning. You don't have to wait for anything to use it. See Installation & Setup to get either path working.
