Shop Management
The Shop section in TimberCloud provides a comprehensive suite of tools for managing your production workflow, from receiving orders through shipping finished products. It serves as your central hub for tracking orders through production stages, managing quality control, handling packaging and shipping logistics, and monitoring inventory levels.
Overview
Access the Shop section from the Shop tab in the main navigation. The Shop is organized into four main areas:

Location-Based Workflow
TimberCloud supports multi-location operations. Throughout the Shop section, you'll find a Location Selector that allows you to:
- View a specific location - Filter all data to a single shop/fulfillment location
- View all locations - See combined data across your entire operation
Note: Locations are configured in Settings → Company → Locations. If you don't have any shop locations set up, you'll see a prompt to create one.
Order Lifecycle
Orders flow through the Shop in a defined sequence. Each stage has its own management tools:

The Order Tracking page (Shop → Tracking) is your primary production management tool. It displays real-time metrics and provides tabs for each order stage:
Dashboard Metrics
At the top of the page, you'll see key metrics:
- Pending Orders - Orders waiting to enter production
- In Production - Orders currently being manufactured
- In Quality Control - Orders awaiting inspection
- Late Orders - Orders past their due date
Tab Navigation
| Tab | Description |

| Pending Orders | New orders with "Ordered" status. Mark individual orders or bulk-select multiple orders to move to production. |
| In Production | Orders progressing through production stations. Track station completion with checkboxes. |
| Quality Control | Orders in the "Inspection" status. View and mark items complete. |
| Late Orders | All overdue orders across any stage. Quickly identify and address delays. |

Quality Control
The Quality Control system ensures products meet your standards before shipping:
- QC Dashboard - View all orders ready for inspection
- QC Detail Page - Inspect individual line items
- Mark Complete - Progress orders to packaging
When an order is marked complete after QC:
- Status changes to "Completed"
- Order appears in the Shipping Dashboard's Packaging tab
- Packaging configuration becomes available
Shipping Dashboard
The Shipping Dashboard (Shop → Shipping) handles the logistics of getting orders to customers:

Inventory Management
The Inventory page (Shop → Inventory) provides location-based stock tracking:

- Location filtering - View inventory for specific locations or combined
- Search & filter - Find items by name, category, or stock level
- Low stock alerts - Identify items needing replenishment
- Category grouping - Organize by product attribute
What Gets Tracked
- Product option inventory - Stock levels for product variations
- Product addons - Inventory for add-on items

Build Sheets / Cut Sheets
Throughout the Shop section, you can access Build Sheets (also called Cut Sheets) for any order:
- Click the eye icon next to an order to preview the build sheet
- On desktop, this opens a preview modal
- On mobile, the PDF opens directly in a new tab
Build sheets provide detailed production instructions including:
- Line item specifications
- Dimensions and measurements
- Material requirements
- Special instructions
Quick Actions
Moving Orders to Production
Individual Order:
- Go to Shop → Tracking → Pending Orders
- Click the + icon next to the order
Bulk Move:
- Select multiple orders using checkboxes
- Click "Move to Production" button
- Confirm the action
Progressing Through Stations
- Go to Shop → Tracking → In Production
- Click station checkboxes to mark completion
- When all stations are complete, click + to move to QC
Completing QC
- Go to Shop → Tracking → QC (or Shop → QC → Order)
- Review and inspect line items
- Click the checkmark to mark complete
Permissions
Access to Shop features is controlled by role permissions:
