Delivery tracking

Once an order is packed and handed to a carrier, you can add its tracking number and follow it to the customer's door — all from your phone. Delivery tracking on mobile is the same Shipping dashboard and per-order Shipping tab you use on the web, at phone width.

Availability: Commerce plan and up. Shipping and tracking are part of Carrier Services — they unlock on the Commerce plan, not Production. (The Shipping dashboard appears nested under Shop for Production users, but the feature itself is Commerce+.) See Subscriptions & Plans.

Where to track

There are two places to work with deliveries:

  • The Shipping dashboard — an overview of shipments across your orders.
  • An order's Shipping tab — where you add tracking numbers and see live status for that specific order.

Both reflow to phone width, so you can add tracking from the loading dock as easily as from your desk.

Adding a tracking number

  1. Open the order and go to its Shipping tab.
  2. Tap Add Tracking Number.
  3. Choose the carrier from the dropdown (see the list below). It defaults to Auto-detect — leave it there if you're not sure, and TimberCloud figures out the carrier from the number's format.
  4. Enter the tracking number.
  5. Save. For split shipments, repeat to add another tracking number to the same order.

Once added, TimberCloud follows the shipment automatically through its tracking network and refreshes the status on its own — you don't re-enter anything. The status updates live on the Shipping tab.

Tip: When in doubt, leave the carrier on Auto-detect. It reads the tracking number's format and picks the carrier for you, which is the quickest and least error-prone option.

The carrier dropdown covers the major parcel carriers plus the LTL freight carriers that matter for furniture and cabinet shipments:

Note: Choose Other for a carrier that isn't in the list. Auto-detect handles most parcel numbers; the freight carriers are there because large cabinet and casework shipments often go LTL rather than by parcel.
