Production Schedule & Insights

The Schedule page is the planning and analytics companion to the Order Tracking dashboard. The Production Insights panel sits at the top of the page — it turns your floor's history into throughput, bottleneck, and on-time numbers — and a production calendar of station events sits below it. Reach it from Shop → Schedule in the left navigation.

Availability: Production plan and up. See Subscriptions & Plans.

The production calendar

The calendar plots your orders' production and station events across the days ahead, colored by station so you can read the shop's rhythm at a glance.

Filter what you see:

ControlWhat it does
Station chipsTap a station's colored chip to filter the calendar to that station; tap again to clear. Chips carry the same color you gave the station in Settings.
SearchFind an order by order number, PO, or customer name.
Show not-started toggleInclude (or hide) orders that haven't started production yet, so you can plan ahead or focus only on active work.

Click any event to open a detail modal showing the order number, the station, and whether the order is past due — with a link straight to the order.

Tip: Because events are colored by station, filtering to one station chip is a fast way to see how loaded a single step — say, your finishing booth — is over the coming week.

Production Insights

The Production Insights panel is the analytics side of the page. A row of summary pills gives you the headline numbers at a glance:

PillMeaning
Total OrdersOrders in the selected date range
Average Lead TimeTypical time from start to finish
On-Time RateShare of orders delivered by their due date
LateCount of late orders (shown when there are any)

A date-range filter at the top of the panel scopes the historical metrics — average lead time, on-time rate, late count, average time at each station, the activity log, and the per-order timeline. Current Station Load is always a live, right-now snapshot, no matter what range you pick.

The panel has three tabs:

Station Analytics

Per-station performance, so you can see where work piles up:

  • Throughput and timing for each station — how many orders passed through and the average time spent there.
  • Bottleneck detection — the station holding up the most work is called out with a "Bottleneck Detected" alert and a suggestion to add capacity or rebalance.
  • Current Station Load — a live snapshot of how many orders are sitting at each station right now.

Activity Log

A running feed of what's happened on the floor — station completions and status changes across your orders — so you can see recent movement without opening each order.

Order Timeline

A per-order timeline that lays out when an order hit each station and status, useful for auditing how a specific job moved through the shop.

How it relates to Tracking

Tracking is where you do the work — moving orders and checking off stations. Schedule is where you plan and measure it. The two share the same stations and orders, so anything you check off in Tracking (or scan with the Scanner) shows up here.
