Order Tracking Dashboard

TimberCloud Storefront — Product Catalog

The Order Tracking Dashboard is your central hub for managing orders through the production lifecycle. Access it via Shop → Tracking in the main navigation.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard provides:

  • Real-time metrics - Key order counts at a glance
  • Location filtering - View data for specific shops or all locations
  • Tab navigation - Switch between production stages
  • Search & filter - Find specific orders quickly

Location Selector

At the top right of the dashboard, you'll find the Location Selector:

  • All Locations - View combined data across your entire operation
  • Specific Location - Filter to a single shop/fulfillment center

When a specific location is selected, you'll see location details including:

  • Location name and address
  • Contact information (if configured)
  • Assigned stations for that location

Tip: Location selection persists as you navigate between tabs. Orders are filtered to show only those assigned to the selected fulfillment location.


Metrics Cards

Four metrics cards display key production statistics:

Tab Navigation

Pending Orders Tab

Lists all orders with "Ordered" status that are ready to enter production.

Table Columns:

  • Order Details (Order #, PO Number)
  • Customer name and reference
  • Order Date
  • Due Date (with visual indicators for overdue/due soon)
  • Status
  • Actions

Available Actions:

Bulk Move to Production:

  1. Select multiple orders using the checkboxes
  2. A count badge appears showing "X selected"
  3. Click the "Move to Production" button
  4. Confirm the action in the modal
  5. Selected orders move to "In Production" status

Due Date Indicators:

  • 🟢 On Track - Due date is more than 3 days away
  • 🟡 Due Soon - Due date is within 3 days
  • 🔴 Overdue - Past due date (shows days late)
  • ⚠️ Not Set - No due date configured

In Production Tab

Displays orders currently being manufactured with station tracking.

Station Overview Panel:

At the top of this tab, you'll see a visual overview showing:

  • Not Started - Orders that haven't completed any stations
  • Per-Station Counts - Number of orders at each production station
  • Progress bars showing distribution

Table Columns:

  • Order Details (Order #, PO Number, late indicator)
  • Location (Fulfillment location name)
  • Production Stations (Interactive checkboxes)
  • Actions

Station Tracking:

Each order displays checkboxes for its assigned stations based on the fulfillment location:

  1. Check stations in order as work progresses
  2. Checking a station automatically marks all prior stations
  3. Unchecking a station marks that and all following stations incomplete
  4. When all stations are checked, a + button appears

Move to Inspection:

  • Once all stations are complete, click the + icon
  • Order status changes to "Inspection"
  • Order appears in the Quality Control tab

Station Filter: Use the Production Station dropdown to filter by:

  • All Stations (default)
  • Specific station (shows orders currently at that stage)

Quick Statistics Panel:

  • Total Orders in production
  • In Progress count
  • Completed (all stations done) count

Note: Stations are location-specific. Different fulfillment locations can have different production workflows. Configure stations in Settings → Orders.


Quality Control Tab

Shows orders in the "Inspection" status ready for quality checks.

Features:

  • Search by Order ID, Customer, or PO Number
  • Status filter dropdown
  • View order details
  • Mark orders complete

Actions:

Mark Complete Workflow:

  1. Click the checkmark icon on an order
  2. Confirmation modal appears
  3. Confirm the action
  4. Order status changes to "Completed"
  5. Order moves to Shipping Dashboard → Packaging

For detailed line-by-line inspection, click the eye icon to open the QC Detail Page.


Late Orders Tab

Aggregates all overdue orders across every stage:

  • Pending orders past due date
  • Production orders past due date
  • QC orders past due date

This provides a single view for identifying and prioritizing delayed orders.


Search & Filtering

Search: Available on all tabs

  • Search by Order Number
  • Search by PO Number
  • Search by Customer Name

Filters:

  • Location (affects all tabs)
  • Station (Production tab only)
  • Status (QC tab only)
  • Items per page (10, 20, 30, 40, 50)

Build Sheet Preview

Click the eye icon (👁️) on any order to preview its build sheet:

  • Desktop: Opens a modal with the PDF preview
  • Mobile: Opens the PDF directly in a new browser tab

Build sheets contain:

  • Order and customer information
  • Line item specifications
  • Dimensions and calculations
  • Material requirements
  • Production notes

Pagination

All tabs support pagination:

  • Page numbers at bottom of table
  • "Show X items" selector
  • Total count display

Troubleshooting

Orders Not Appearing

Check:

  • Selected location matches order's fulfillment location
  • Order status matches the current tab
  • Search query isn't filtering out the order

Stations Not Showing

Check:

  • Stations are configured for the order's fulfillment location
  • Order has a fulfillment location assigned
  • Location settings include stations (Settings → Orders → Stations)

Can't Move to Production

Check:

  • Order has "Ordered" status
  • You have permission to update orders
  • Due date is set (may be required by settings)
