Create Your TimberCloud Account

Welcome to TimberCloud! Creating an account is the first step toward transforming how you sell custom products online. The signup process takes just a few minutes, and you can have your first products listed the same day.

Getting Started

What You'll Need

Before you begin, have the following ready:

  • A valid email address
  • A strong password (at least 8 characters)

That's it! You can add company details and payment information after creating your account.


Step 1: Navigate to Signup

Visit timbercloud.com/create-account (opens in a new tab) to create your account.

Step 2: Enter Your Information

Create Your User Account

Fill out the signup form with your details:

Password Requirements

For account security, your password should:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include at least one number
  • Not be a commonly used password

Step 3: Review Terms and Conditions

Before creating your account, review and agree to:

Step 4: Verify Your Email

After submitting the signup form:

  1. Check your email inbox for a verification message
  2. Click the verification link in the email
  3. You'll be redirected to log in with your new account

Didn't receive the email?

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Make sure you entered your email correctly
  • Click "Resend verification email" on the login page
  • Contact support@timbercloud.com if issues persist

Step 5: Log In and Get Started

With your email verified, log in to access your TimberCloud dashboard.

First-Time Login

When you first log in, you have two options:

  1. Create a Company — Set up your own business to sell products
  2. Become a Customer — Browse and order from existing TimberCloud businesses

Most users will want to create a company to start selling.


Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to core platform features:

The trial gives you time to:

  • Set up your product catalog
  • Test the pricing configurator
  • Create sample orders
  • Explore the dashboard and reporting

After Signup: Quick Start Guide

Here's the recommended path to get your store live:

Step 1: Setup

  1. ✓ Create your account (you're here!)
  2. Create your company — Add business details
  3. Choose a subscription plan — Select Basic, Standard, Professional, or Ultimate

Step 2: Products

  1. Create your first product — Add name, description, and options
  2. Set up pricing — Configure formulas for variable pricing
  3. Add product images — Upload photos for your catalog

Step 3: Configuration

  1. Configure shipping — Set up delivery methods and rates
  2. Set up payments — Connect Stripe to accept payments
  3. Customize your storefront — Adjust checkout settings

Step 4: Go Live

  1. Embed on your website — Copy the embed code to your site
  2. Test the checkout flow — Place a test order
  3. Launch! — Share with your customers

Account Security

Protecting Your Account

  • Use a unique, strong password
  • Don't share your login credentials
  • Log out when using shared computers
  • Enable two-factor authentication when available

Password Recovery

Forgot your password?

  1. Go to the login page (opens in a new tab)
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for reset instructions
  5. Create a new password

Managing Your Account

After creating your account, you can manage your profile settings:

  • Update your name and contact information
  • Change your password
  • Manage email notification preferences
  • View your company associations

Notification Preferences

Control which emails you receive:

  • Order notifications
  • Payment confirmations
  • Low inventory alerts
  • System updates and announcements

Joining an Existing Company

If you've been invited to join an existing TimberCloud company:

  1. Check your email for the invitation
  2. Click the invitation link
  3. Create your account (or log in if you already have one)
  4. You'll automatically be added to the company with the assigned role

Your access level depends on the role assigned by the company administrator.


Troubleshooting

Common Issues

"Email already registered"

Verification email not received

  • Check spam/junk folders
  • Add noreply@timbercloud.com to your contacts
  • Request a new verification email from the signup page

Unable to log in after signup

  • Make sure you've verified your email
  • Check that you're using the correct email and password
  • Try resetting your password
