Account Settings
Manage your personal profile, notification preferences, and security settings. These settings affect your individual user account rather than company-wide configurations.
Navigation: Click your profile icon → Account Settings
Personal Information
Update your account profile to keep your information current.
Profile Photo
Personalize your account with a profile photo:
- Click the current photo or placeholder
- Select Change to upload a new image
- Click Remove to delete existing photo
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF (max 5MB)
Account Details

Note: Changing your email may require verification before it takes effect.
Notifications
Customize how you receive updates and alerts. Notifications can be configured for in-app and email delivery.
Notification Categories
Configure which types of notifications you want to receive:

Order Notifications

Customer Notifications

Configuring Notifications
For each notification type:
- Toggle In-App for notifications within TimberCloud
- Toggle Email for email delivery
- Both can be enabled simultaneously
Tip: Enable email notifications for critical items (payments, order issues) and in-app for routine updates.
Security
Strengthen your account's security and manage sensitive settings.
Password
Changing Your Password
- Navigate to Account Settings → Security
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click Save
Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
Forgot Password
If you forget your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for reset instructions
- Follow the link to create a new password
Note: Password reset links expire after 24 hours.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security to your account:
- Navigate to Security settings
- Click Enable 2FA
- Scan QR code with authenticator app
- Enter verification code to confirm
- Save backup codes securely
Supported Authenticator Apps:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- Microsoft Authenticator
- 1Password
Active Sessions
View and manage devices where you're logged in:

Click Sign Out next to any session to revoke access.

Unsubscribe
To unsubscribe from specific email types:
- Click the unsubscribe link in any email
- Or manage preferences in Account Settings
- Toggle off unwanted email categories

Security Recommendations
- Use Strong Passwords: Combine letters, numbers, and symbols
- Enable 2FA: Add two-factor authentication
- Review Sessions: Regularly check active sessions
- Update Regularly: Change passwords every 90 days
- Don't Share Credentials: Each user should have their own account
Notification Strategy
- Prioritize Critical Alerts: Enable email for payments and issues
- Reduce Noise: Disable routine notifications if overwhelming
- Check Regularly: Review in-app notifications daily
- Configure by Role: Adjust based on your job function
