Sales Reports

Sales reports provide a comprehensive overview of your company's sales performance, including detailed analytics on quotes, orders, transactions, and revenue trends. This section allows you to filter data by date range, status, and location for targeted analysis.
Accessing Sales Reports
Navigate to Reports → Sales from the main navigation. The report defaults to showing today's data.
Location Filtering
If your company has multiple locations configured, you can filter reports by specific locations:
- All Locations: View combined sales data across all fulfillment locations
- Specific Location: Select a location from the dropdown to view sales for that location only
This is particularly useful for businesses with multiple warehouses or retail locations.
Filters
The filters panel at the top of the report allows you to:
- Date Range: Select start and end dates to analyze a specific time period
- Status Filter: Filter by order status (Quote, Ordered, or all)
- Generate PDF: Export the current report view as a PDF document
- Download Excel: Export detailed data as an Excel spreadsheet with multiple sheets
- Refresh: Reload the report data
Revenue Analytics
Revenue Cards
The summary section displays three key metrics:
- Total Quotes Value: The aggregate value of all quotes generated within the selected timeframe, along with the total number of quotes
- Total Orders Value: The cumulative value of all orders placed, with the order count
- Transaction Amount: Total payments received, with outstanding balance shown
Multi-Currency Support: If you have orders in multiple currencies, each currency total will be displayed separately.
Sales Activity Over Time
An interactive bar chart showing:
- Quotes: Number of quotes created per day
- Orders: Number of orders placed per day
- Transactions: Number of payment transactions per day
Revenue Trends
A line chart displaying revenue patterns over time:
- Quote Revenue: Daily quote value trends
- Order Revenue: Daily order value trends
- Transaction Total: Daily payment totals
Order Status Breakdown
This section provides two views of order status distribution:
Pie Chart
A visual breakdown showing the distribution of orders across different statuses (Quote, Ordered, In Production, Complete, etc.).
Status Table
A detailed table listing each status and its count for the selected period.

Sales by Salesperson
Evaluate individual performance with a detailed breakdown by sales representative:
- Sales Rep Name: The name of the salesperson
- Total Orders: Number of orders attributed to this salesperson
- Order Value: Total value of orders
- Total Quotes: Number of quotes created
- Quote Value: Total value of quotes
- Estimated Commission: Calculated based on company commission settings
Adding Sales Reps: New sales representatives can be added in the company settings.
Product Summary
Gain insights into product-specific sales performance:
- Product Name: The product being analyzed
- Order Units: Total quantity of each product sold
- Total Order Value: Revenue generated from product sales
- Quote Units: Total quantity of each product quoted
- Total Quote Value: Potential revenue from quoted products
Export Options
PDF Report
Click Generate PDF to create a formatted PDF document containing:
- Summary statistics
- Revenue charts
- Status breakdown
- Salesperson performance
- Product analysis
Excel Export
Click Download Excel to export a comprehensive Excel workbook with multiple sheets:
- Order Summary: High-level totals and averages
- Orders: Detailed list of all orders
- Quotes: Detailed list of all quotes
- Revenue Over Time: Daily revenue breakdown
- Sales by Product: Product performance metrics
- Sales by Salesperson: Individual rep performance
Tips for Using Sales Reports
- Regular Analysis: Review sales reports daily or weekly to identify trends
- Compare Periods: Use date filters to compare performance across different time periods
- Identify Top Performers: Use salesperson and product breakdowns to identify your best performers
- Track Conversion: Compare quote values to order values to understand your conversion rate
- Monitor Outstanding Balances: Keep an eye on the difference between order values and transaction amounts
